Eligibility:

Breeds eligible to enter are:

Afghan Hounds, Azawakhs, Basenjis, Borzois, Cirneco Dell’Etna, Greyhounds, Ibizan Hounds, Italian Greyhounds, Irish Wolfhounds, Pharaoh Hounds, Portuguese Podengo Pequendo, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Salukis, Scottish Deerhounds, Sloughis and Whippets.

For your hound to be qualified to participate in the NLCC it needs to have at least ONE of the following:

1. All eligible hounds which have earned an AKC Field Championship prior to the closing date for entries.

2. All eligible hounds in the Top 25 hounds of each breed from the preceding calendar year, using The AKC designated system for breed points. (A list of the Top 25 by breed is available on the AKC Web site)

3. All eligible hounds which were awarded a Best In Field at an all breed AKC Lure Coursing Trial in the current year.

4. Best of Breed on each day of the most recent AKC National Lure Coursing Championship.

5. All eligible hounds which were awarded Best In Field at an AKC Lure Coursing Trial held in conjunction with that breed’s National Specialty.

6. All Open and Open Veteran hounds must have an accumulation of at least 3 (three) championship points.

Entries

* Entry Fees:
    – $35 for each hound/day

* NO “day of” entries will be accepted.  

* Entries are due to the field trial secretary on Monday, October 4th, 2021 at 6:00pm 

* On line entries will be accepted – Link to On Line Entries

* If you choose to not use the Online Entry forms – Entries can be mailed to: Eddie Kominek (FTS), 123 Glendale Rd., Limestone, TN 37681 

* Questions regarding entries can be directed towards our FTS – Eddie Kominek (fts@akcnlcc.org)

* No late or incomplete entries will be accepted.
* Substitutions due to “Bitches in season” or “lame dogs” will be taken until Monday, Oct. 4th  – 6:00 pm      – Please notify the FTS ASAP!            – substitutions will not be printed in the catalog
* ALL payment(s) are due to the FTS with the entry on October 4th, 2021.

ADDITIONAL STAKES:

*Breeders Stake and Kennel Stake winners will be calculated from combined points over both days and will be awarded on Saturday only. These stakes will be an additional $10/pair/weekend           

*High Scoring Dual Champion Stake will also be a combined two day score and will be awarded on Saturday. This will also be an additional $10/hound entered

(due Monday, October 4th at 6:00pm at the FTS’s house)
